Hello everyone. Today I am re-purposing this blog to talk about information security and how one can protect themselves from online criminals. Let's start with the basics of patching your system. This is an important step to keeping the bad guys out of your data. So make sure you run your Windows updates (and Mac updates) regularly. Set your updates to run automatically if you are able to. Let's take it one step further today and Also update Adobe Reader, QuickTime, Java and Flash. This will go a long way in protecting yourself. I should also take my own advice on security and I'll be looking at finding a more "secure" blogging software as this one is far below standards.
